What should I do to prepare for my appointment?
To ensure the best results from your treatment, please arrive with clean skin, free of makeup or lotions. If you’re undergoing a facial or a peel, it’s advisable to avoid exfoliating products or retinoids for at least 48 hours before your appointment. For injectables, avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications, and supplements that may increase bruising a few days prior.
How long do the results last?
The longevity of results varies depending on the treatment. For injectables like Botox, results typically last 3-4 months. Dermal fillers can last 6-18 months, depending on the area treated and the type of filler used. Skincare treatments like chemical peels or microneedling may require a series of sessions for optimal results, with maintenance treatments recommended.
What skincare products should I use after my treatment?
Your post-treatment skincare regimen is crucial for maintaining results. We recommend using gentle, hydrating products that support skin healing. Avoid harsh exfoliants or active ingredients like retinoids and vitamin C for at least a week after your treatment unless otherwise advised by your provider.
Is there any downtime after the treatment?
Downtime varies by treatment. Most treatments have minimal downtime, but some, like microneedling or chemical peels, may cause redness or peeling for a few days. Your provider will give you specific aftercare instructions to minimize downtime and ensure optimal healing.
How often should I schedule my treatments?
The frequency of treatments depends on your skin goals and the specific treatment plan. For injectables, follow-up sessions are typically every 3-6 months. Facials and skincare treatments can be scheduled monthly or seasonally, depending on your needs.
Can I combine multiple treatments in one session?
Yes, combining treatments is often recommended to enhance results. During your consultation, we can create a customized treatment plan that may include a combination of facials, peels, and injectables tailored to your skincare goals.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Payment is due at the time of service. We also offer financing options through third-party providers for certain treatments.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, we offer consultations to discuss your skin concerns, treatment options, and goals. During the consultation, we’ll assess your skin and recommend a personalized treatment plan.
What is your cancellation policy?
Patients must cancel or reschedule an appointment at least 36 hours in advance. A $100 fee will be charged to no show appointments or cancellations made after the 36 hour cancellation period.
Are your treatments safe for all skin types?
Yes, we tailor our treatments to suit all skin types and tones. During your consultation, we’ll assess your skin and recommend the safest and most effective treatment options for you.
Can I wear makeup after my treatment?
It’s best to avoid wearing makeup for at least 24 hours after most treatments to allow your skin to breathe and heal. If you must wear makeup, opt for mineral-based products that are less likely to clog pores.
What happens if I'm late to my appointment?
If you’re late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your treatment time may be shortened to ensure we stay on schedule for other clients. Please try to arrive on time to enjoy the full experience.
How should I care for my skin between treatments?
Maintaining a consistent skincare routine at home is key to prolonging the results of your treatments. We recommend using high-quality, professional-grade products suited to your skin type and concerns, along with sunscreen daily to protect your skin.
POLICIES
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds on services rendered or skincare retail. Results may vary from person to person and the outcome cannot be guaranteed. Patients are responsible for further treatments needed to achieve further results. We do not offer cash refunds on any services purchased and not yet rendered however we will offer credit towards other services.
Specials & Discounts
All specials and discounts are based on regular individual prices. One special or discount per person per treatment. Specials cannot be combined with any other offer. Specials or discounts are not transferable.
Do you offer consultations?
Yes, we offer consultations to discuss your skin concerns, treatment options, and goals. During the consultation, we’ll assess your skin and recommend a personalized treatment plan. Consultations are $50 for a 30 minute appointment. The consultation fee is non refundable.
What is your cancellation policy?
Please arrive 10-15 minutes prior to your appointment. *Please be aware, arriving more than 10 minutes late will be considered a no-show.
We require at least 36 hours notice when cancelling or rescheduling an appointment. If the cancellation is made within less than 36 hours of the appointment time, it will be considered a no-show and you will be charged a non-refundable, non-applicable $100 cancellation fee for every 30 minute booking for your missed appointment.
Skin by Deep Roots does not re-book clients who no-show with a provider.

What is the Child Policy?
At Skin by Deep Roots, we strive to provide an exceptional experience for all our clients. To maintain this standard, no children under the age of 12 may accompany a patient to their appointment unless they are also receiving a service.
If anyone under the age of 12 accompanies a patient to their appointment, the patient will be required to reschedule.
Any person(s) over 12 accompanying a patient must wait in the waiting area for the duration of the appointment.
What is the Pet Policy?
At Skin by Deep Roots, we strive to maintain a clean and comfortable environment for all our clients. Therefore, we do not allow any pets in the Med Spa.
